Springtime Restorative Yoga with Sound Infused Yoga Nidra

Join Stephanie & Alissa for 2 hours of complete bliss and give yourself the biggest gift of self love this weekend of Valentine’s Day.

We will start with a meditation to center our mind and body to prepare us 60 minutes of restorative yoga. Then, we will transition into 45 minutes of sound-infused yoga nidra.

Restorative yoga is the centering of your breath and body - aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. The use of props assist in helping you to hold poses longer. There are many benefits of restorative yoga, including: Enhances flexibility. Deeply relaxes the body. Stills the mind. Improves capacity for healing and balancing. Balances the nervous system. Boosts the immune system. Develops qualities of compassion and understanding toward others and self. Enhances mood states.

Nidra is a conscious deep yogic sleep that promotes deep relaxation, enhances creativity, improves concentration and focus, helps refresh your mind, is more effective than a nap, and resets adrenals. The benefits of Nidra are many, but include relief of stress-related disorders, hypertension, insomnia, trauma, and anxiety. During Nidra, the body and mind are fully relaxed. You will lay comfortably on a yoga mat, in a comfortable position, eyes closed, while you are guided through the experience. Additionally, this Nidra will incorporate the delicious sounds and vibrations of singing bowls.

Take time for you and give yourself this delicious treat for mind, body & soul! You will leave class feeling an abundance of peace and calm and will most likely experience the best night of sleep in a long time!

This is the perfect event to attend with a friend or loved one.

Event is held Sunday, March 24th from 1:00-3:00 PM

Ayurveda 101 and Spring Reset

Have you heard of Ayurveda or did you just say, "Eye-your-what"?? Would you like to know some basic nutritional and lifestyle tips on how to live a healthier life and maybe even lose some unwanted pounds?

Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga and a way to live a more balanced and healthy life. On Saturday, March 30th Stephanie Neighbor Kubik will be hosting a 2 hour Ayurveda 101 workshop from 10:45am-12:45pm. She will talk specifically about each “dosha” and what diet & lifestyle changes you can make to feel more balanced. The cost is $59 and will be held at Vella Studio.

In addition, starting Wednesday, April 3rd Stephanie will lead a 3 week Spring digestive reset to reset and purify the digestive system. The cost is $89 for the reset alone.

Dates for the digestive reset:
April 3, April 10, April 17th
7-8/8:30 PM (after yoga class)

Resetting the digestive system is natural in spring - we often feel a deep urge to rid ourselves of the heaviness from winter, clear out old unwanted items and create new space. Ayurveda understands this deeply-seated tendency as something very significant: a powerful natural movement within; a physiological trend to clean out - inside and out.

An Ayurvedic Reset:
Restores a sense of calm to the mind and the nervous system.
Fosters both clarity and grounded-ness mentally, spiritually, and emotionally
Nurtures an improved sense of energy and vitality.
Supports sound sleep.
Promotes regular elimination
Helps reestablish one’s natural state of balance.
Prepares the tissues for deep nourishment and rejuvenation.

Early Bird Registration for both (workshop & reset)
by 3/15th: $125

After 3/15: Register for both the cost is $140.

Separately, the three week cleanse is $89.
