I Am...2019: Intention Setting and Book Club

Do you set your intentions every New Year, but fall short or wonder how to make them come to fruition? Do you set the intentions but deep down don't believe you can make them happen? Do you have the desire but lack the support or simply want some help? If any of those apply to you, this workshop/bookclub is for you!

These are only some of the questions we will dig in to:

  • What intentions would you like to set for yourself in 2019?

  • What is holding you back from reaching your intentions/goals/dreams?

  • If there were no obstacles, what would you reach for? What would be your biggest dream?

  • Do you really believe that you can do anything you put your mind to?

Together, we will work through the book "Self-Esteem Workbook & Journal - 101 Affirmations, Journal Questions and Creative prompts" by Tony Robinson and answer those and many more questions.

You will receive the following during our 4 classes together:

  • Yoga

  • Meditation

  • Create your own Vision Board

  • Group discussions

  • Probing questions and prompts for journaling.

  • Tools to overcome excuses and make your intentions come to fruition.

  • Discussions lead by Stephanie

  • Book is optional

Self Love: Restorative Yoga with Sound Infused Yoga Nidra

Join Stephanie & Alissa for 2 hours of complete bliss and give yourself the biggest gift of self love this weekend of Valentine’s Day.

We will start with a meditation to center our mind and body to prepare us 60 minutes of restorative yoga. Then, we will transition into 45 minutes of sound-infused yoga nidra.

Restorative yoga is the centering of your breath and body - aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. The use of props assist in helping you to hold poses longer. There are many benefits of restorative yoga, including: Enhances flexibility. Deeply relaxes the body. Stills the mind. Improves capacity for healing and balancing. Balances the nervous system. Boosts the immune system. Develops qualities of compassion and understanding toward others and self. Enhances mood states.

Nidra is a conscious deep yogic sleep that promotes deep relaxation, enhances creativity, improves concentration and focus, helps refresh your mind, is more effective than a nap, and resets adrenals. The benefits of Nidra are many, but include relief of stress-related disorders, hypertension, insomnia, trauma, and anxiety. During Nidra, the body and mind are fully relaxed. You will lay comfortably on a yoga mat, in a comfortable position, eyes closed, while you are guided through the experience. Additionally, this Nidra will incorporate the delicious sounds and vibrations of singing bowls.

Take time for you and give yourself this delicious treat for mind, body & soul! You will leave class feeling an abundance of peace and calm and will most likely experience the best night of sleep in a long time!
